Mike Model

I've been working on a model for quite about 2 months now, the first couple of weeks I got a lot of it laid out with the basic topology but haven't been able to work on it for awhile till tonight. Worked on the hand mostly. Still have a bit to go but then hopefully going to rigg this model & come up with some storyboard to animate him.

Photo of the Night

After watching Skyline I quickly took a photo of my car placed nicely in the parking structure. Photo was shot with my cell phone by the way. Edited in photoshop.

Walk Cycles!

So in my animation one class at SMC we are learning walk cycles.
I was pretty concentrated with the in spacing in the in between frames of the key poses, i was having trouble with it at first but then kept on going at it to get it pretty solid the first time so i would have as many fixes to do when i finalize it with the body.

Can't wait to get a complete body on this one. Hopefully I get more of the other projects up on here, I'll have to scan them in though cause we just tape them all on the "animation lunchboxes" (the old school way of recording animation).

Later I will bring scan all the frames into the computer fix & color them in illustrator & then bring it to after effects for the full composite when I get it all finalized & the body put on it. SIKED!

Busy Bee!

Currently I'm working on a business card. FINALLY!

Here is my first concept. Idea of it was that I work in motion design, which is RBG colors, as well as the first letters in my first three names are "JPR" so I thought I would combine them both since both RBG & "JPR" were three characters, or colors, each.

I'm going to deff play around with some more designs with the concept.

Screen Capture of work in progress on Illustrator:

Also here are a couple of photos taken with my blackberry bold of my figure drawings from my figure drawing class at SMC.

This model was by far my favorite, she was quite a curvy model which made it quite easy to capture the structure of the body. I had a model this past week that had an extremely stiff frame that I could just not get past, ha. The difference in the models really stood out, had quite a struggle.

Well till next post, keep it golden you people!
